Born and raised in Detroit, MI, I grew up in a single-parent home from the age of 8.
My childhood was marked by moving to different parts of the country, which gave me a unique perspective on life.
As a young Black man, I moved to New York at the age of 24, seeking new opportunities and experiences.
Throughout my upbringing, I became the listening ear for my family, including my mom, grandma, and two brothers.
This role made me realize the importance of being heard, understood, and respected.
I learned that people can only give as much as they are equipped to, which motivated me to commit to constant self-development.
We are all individuals striving to relate to one another and find our tribe.
My journey has been about understanding this dynamic and helping others navigate their own paths to self-discovery and growth.
